Men are now going for Manicures

In our current society, there is an obsession and an urge to look good to the people around you. This is especially so for women. But some men have also entered this obsession and have started to take more interest in their hygiene. These days, men are using moisturizers and body lotions, are using colognes and of late, some of them have started having manicures.

What is the importance of manicures?

Well, a manicure helps one keep the nails trimmed, short and clean. In addition to this, it helps keep the skin of the hands beautiful. A manicure is a good way of keeping personal hygiene. For those blessed with hands, they use them every single day and in many cases the hands, including the finger nails get dirty. With the maximum use of our hands, we are exposed to a wide variety of diseases, and most of them hide under our nails. If we were to put this together with the fact that some men are fond of biting their nails, it makes the situation worse. One is not only exposing themselves to disease, but it is also very irritating. Ask the ladies. Most of them get irritated when their male counterparts bite their fingernails.

It is believed that there are more germs under the finger nails than there is on the toilet seat. How true this is, I can't really tell. But this is why men should be encouraged to go manicures. They help improve one's hygiene and can stop cases of having fungus growing under the finger nails. The reason why we have fungus and other kinds of parasites in our hands is because we fail to take good care of them. If men were to take a little more interest in keeping their finger nails and hands clean, they some of the diseases that they have would be reduced.
