Manicuring mainly involves keeping one's fingernails clean. This is something most men consider as women talk. It is very hard to find a man seated in a barber shop having his nails done. What they don't know is that it is a wonderful thing to have your fingernails trimmed and polished. They will look attractive and may even attract some ladies to someone. It would be good to know the general process and the types of male manicures that are available:
When a man decides to go for a manicure, one of the first things to be done is to trim the nails if they are long. This is followed by shaping the nail, followed by removing the cuticle. In some cases, some conditioner is applied and then the fingertips are dipped into warm soapy water and left to soften. The hands are then removed, dried and the protruding cuticles returned to place.
After that, the nails are buffed and then lotion applied to the entire hand. In some special cases, the nails/ fingers are massaged with lotion.
One of the types of manicures men can get is a hot oil manicure. In this type, hot oil is used to soften the cuticles before cleaned and made to look nice. This is one of the most popular kinds of manicures among the men. It is usually recommended for those ones with extremely dry hands and fingernails.
The other type of manicure that a man may go for is the paraffin wax manicure. In this type, the paraffin wax is warmed and the hands dipped repeatedly in the warmed liquid. This happens until a thick coat is formed on the nails. The hands then wrapped in plastic and covered with a towel to retain the warmth for about 15 minutes. The towel is then removed, the coat is removed and the manicure process continues as normal.
If you are a man and would like to have good looking nails, then you would want to have one of these male manicures done for you.
